The Perfect Apple Pie

This year, I was unable to go home for Thanksgiving. To get in the spirit of the holiday, I decided to bake an apple pie! It seemed like the right thing to do. Last Thanksgiving I came across this recipe but was never able to make it! I was too busy making pumpkin and pecan pies( most requested). Since the only pie request this year was mine, I went ahead and baked an apple pie using that recipe.

The pie turned out great!!! The crust is perfectly flaky, the apples have the perfect sweetness, and the smell is incredible!
